complete your VAT application for your new company using the HMRC online
service. This may speed up the process of obtaining your VAT
registration certificate and number. |
| However in order to do this we must have
your bank account details for the new company, so you must notify us as soon
as you set up the account which can take a few days or up to a week, and you
cannot do this until after the company has been formed. |
| As soon as you provide us with those details
we will apply online and confirm to you. |
| After that has been done the VAT
registration office can take many weeks to process this application. |
| You may receive further enquiries from them
such as requesting proof of intent to commence trading. Evidence may
be requested such as copies of contracts with customers/suppliers, invoices
for expenditure to date, etc. |
| It is your responsibility to ensure that you
reply promptly and in full to such enquiries. Without a reply your
application will not progress and eventually will be cancelled. |
